Our founder fell in love with matcha tea during a trip to Uji, Japan, where matcha has been cultivated for centuries. Inspired by the tradition, craftsmanship, and health benefits of this remarkable tea, we set out to create a direct connection between the ancient tea fields of Japan and tea lovers in North America.

Based on beautiful Bowen Island in British Columbia, we are passionate about sharing the authentic matcha experience and educating people about this wonderful superfood that has been part of Japanese culture for over 800 years.
